Membuat Bandana dari Jeans Bekas.

Bingung nih jeans udah kekecilan tapi motif dan warnanya suka banget? Di recycle aja! Kita buat bandana dari jeans. Kalo yang berjilbab juga bisa kok dibuat bros :D

First you need a plastic headband. I used one from the Dollar Store. They came in a pack of three:

You will also need an old pair of levis, preferably adult size. That way your strips will be longer.
Cut a slit on the bottom of one of the pant legs.
Now start ripping along the slit all the way up to the top of the leg, as far as you can go.
Continue cutting slits about 1 1/2" wide, and ripping them up the leg. You will need three, one for each of the headbands.

When you get to the top, cut each strip of fabric loose from the pants, and trim off the bottom hem. Then cut a small piece off of one end, about 3/4" long.

Take the small scrap and fold it over the end of the headband. Then wrap it around the band and secure it with hot glue. (This step is optional, but it ensures that the tip of the plastic headband won't show.)

Repeat for the other tip of the headband.

Next take your long strip of denim and lay it on your work surface. Place the tip of the headband close to the edge of the denim strip. Wrap the denim over the headband and secure with hot glue.

Now pull the fabric at an angle and start wrapping it around the headband. Secure with small amounts of hot glue as you go. (Sorry, the photo turned out blurry.)

Continue wrapping till you get to the end of the headband. Make sure you secure the end piece well. It should look something like this when you are done:

You can either wear it as is, or add some embellishments. I added some denim rosettes that I made with the extra fabric from the pair of levis.

There you have it, a cute denim headband made from recycled jeans and a dollar store headband.

How to make a Headband from Felt!

Hip, yet understated. Just my style.

I looked through some of my daughers headbands and found a plain black satin one that I thought would be up to the job. Grabbed some leather, and got to cutting.

I was going to actually sew the petals on, but the leather was thick and I didn't feel like bruising my poor fingers, so I turned to my handy dandy glue gun! {and on a sidenote - is it sad when your hands are so cold a glue gun burn feels nice?}

I squeezed the ends of the petals together, added a dab of glue here and there and set them aside. I took some black floss and added the stitching around the circle and then glued the petals onto the circle. Added a circle of felt on the back, positioned and glued them onto my band and BAM! I was done.

Super cute and super cheap! $0 to be exact.

How to treat your nails :D

Bagi yang suka mewarnai kuku,jangan lupa menghapus semua bekas cat kuku yang tersisa di kuku dengan kapas kecantikan yang dibasahi cairan penghapus cat kuku.berikan perhatian khusus pada sudut-sudut kuku,tempat larik-larik cat kuku biasanya masih tertinggal.

Rendam tangan dalam panci air sabun hangat yang dibubuhi sedikit garam.

Pijatkan krim pelembab ke kutikula(kulit ari di sekeliling tepi kuku),seluruh kuku,hingga sendi pertama jemari tangan.

Dorong atau tekan kutikula dengan cuticle stick.

Bersihkan semua kuku satu per satu dengan sikat yang lembut.

Potong kuku secara rapi sesuai panjang yang diinginkan.

Kikir kuku hingga halus agar tidak mudah sobek dan menyerpih.

Gunakan sisi yang kasar dari kikir kuku untuk mengurangi ukuran kuku,dan sisi yang halus untuk membentuk dan menghaluskan ujung-ujung kuku

Gunting kutikula yang liar dengan cuticle cuter (alat pemotong kutikula).Anda juga bisa mengoleskan cairan pembersih kutikula (cairan berbahan dasar alkalin yang dibubuhi suatu bahan pelembab) ke kuku untuk lebih melunakkan sel-sel kulit mati yang terkumpul di sekeliling lekuk-lekuk kuku.

Singkirkan kotoran yang ada di bawah ujung kuku.Ganti air di panci dan tambahkan beberapa tetes larutan antiseptik.

Oleskan hand cream dan pijat sekujur tangan untuk menyingkirkan sel-sel kulit yang kering atau lepas.Ini akan memperbaiki sirkulasi dan memungkinkan tangan menjadi kencang dan lembut ketika di sentuh.Setelah itu,bungkus tangan dengan handuk lembut yang dibasahi air hangat dan rileks
